If I’ve learnt anything about brazilian waxing its that women will have it done once and they’re hooked!! I could tell you that it feels silky smooth and clean but there are no words to describe it. It’s a sensation that needs to be experienced to be appreciated and understood.
I can also sit here and tell you that I use the finest wax and that I’ve had years of experience. I can tell you that I have developed pain reducing techniques and that I come highly recommended and that you can trust me but I won’t. After all, every other waxist will tell you the same thing. I’ll leave it to you to make up your own mind.
In the meantime, let me dispel a few myths about brazilian waxing.
Myth #1 Brazilian means everything off.
No. This is not the case. Many salons have different names for it XX or XXX or brazilian. They are predominantly one and the same thing. You can have all the hair removed, or you can leave a strip at the front, or a triangle or even a love heart if you wanted to, its up to you.
Myth #2 Strip wax is better than hot wax.
Many beauty therapists will tell you that strip wax is the same as hot wax.
Or even worse, they will tell you that strip wax is BETTER than hot wax!
This is simply not true. Strip wax is faster (and cheaper for the beauty therapist) and its perfect for large areas, such as legs, arms, back etc. However, it is not designed for sensitive areas such as your eyebrows, face and genitalia. Rest assured that only the best quality waxes are used at Illumine Me for brazilian waxing.
Myth #3 Brazilian waxing hurts.
Well, lets be realistic. Pulling hair out of your genital area is not going to be a pleasant sensation. It is, however, not as painful as you may imagine. Although you will experience some discomfort, I have worked long and hard to make your brazilian waxing treatment as painless as possible using various techniques. And the result? Well, as I said, you’ll need to experience it for yourself.
