ILLUMINE ME

Well, here it is!!!! The newsletter that I have been promising to deliver for longer that I care to remember! Its better late than never, I say! Nevertheless, I welcome you to my first ever newsletter, just in time for Christmas!! A time to celebrate, to reflect on the year gone by and to plan for the year ahead.

First things first, you will see that I have changed the name of my business from Perfect Skin to Illumine Me – why? Because I have launched a new range of products and services to complement my existing skin care services.

I am amazed at the changes that have taken place in 2005. I would like to extend a hearty thank you to all of you who have supported me throughout the year. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with each and every one of you and I look forward to seeing you all in 2006. And what a year is planned ahead!!

Skincare & Massage

As most of you are aware, my experience of waxing and massage over the last four years exposed me to a wide range of skin conditions. I have painstakingly researched various products and methods to alleviate conditions including eczema, psoriasis, ingrown hairs and allergies/sensitivities. I have become increasingly concerned about the overwhelming number of products on the general market that not only contribute to but cause these painful and/or unsightly skin conditions.

Illumine Me is born!

As they say, if you want something done properly, do it yourself. So I have. I have launched my own product range. Illumine Me products are free from sulphates, artificial fragrances, colours, preservatives and all the other non-essential chemicals that have made life a misery for many of you. I began with the very delicious chocolate soap. Extensive testing demonstrated a distinct benefit to my adult clients and most importantly the sensational effect on children with severe allergies/conditions! Before long I was experimenting with natural clays and oils. I developed lip balms, bath bags and bath bombs – suddenly I had created an entire range of products!! My new found passion has resulted in me researching and testing natural facial products, which I will be using for facial treatments!

To reinforce my belief and passion for my new business, I’m producing a new logo, business cards and information leaflets. Facials will commence in February/March 2006, the website will be launched soon after that! Watch this space for details! However, rest assured that there are no plans to change the waxing or massage aspects of the business, you will still receive the same personalised and focused attention I have always given to you, my clients.

Illumine Me Gift Baskets

My dining table is usually cluttered with paperwork and good intentions! However, in the last couple of weeks, it has been transformed. It now looks amazing!! (Even if I say so myself!) Almost as soon as Illumine Me came into being, I started getting requests for gift baskets. These can be put together based on skin type, colour, favourite oils or age group. I have already had a couple of open mornings and have been amazed at the response – the gift baskets look beautiful and of course are guilt free as all of the contents are organic and cater for even the fussiest person! Once again, I would like to thank you all for supporting me throughout this year. I would like to wish you all the very best this Christmas and festive season and a very happy and prosperous 2006.
